Story:
Two magic amulets surface after a couple of thousand years (or hundred--but who's keeping track of this stuff). One happens to be in the possession of a young martial arts fighter. The other soon falls into the hands of a megalomaniacal villain who wants to rule the world by possessing both halves of the Double Dragon. In his quest to get them, the evil master reanimates some gang members he kills as zombie servants.

Gee, I can't imagine why this movie didn't make a fortune at the box office. After all, it's just so fantastic. NOT!!!
First of all, the film has way too many in-jokes and thinks it's far too clever. For example, we have wink-wink-nudge-nudge appearances by relatively famous individuals, such as George Hamilton and Vanna White as newscasters, in the future projected by the movie.
Almost everyone phones in their performances or noticeably overacts here. I suspect a few folks where there just to pick up paychecks. The martial arts aren't bad, but there has certainly been better stuff out there.
