A group of friends are attempting to make a documentary on a notorious haunted house. Of course, they also plan to have a little fun as well in the form of some sex while they are there. Things go horribly wrong, however, when a real ghost turns up. It turns out that a very nasty spirit, Amanda Morales, has been resurrected and can now take possession of human bodies. And she proceeds to do just that with one of the women from the group. She also appears in visions to one of the men who is sensitive psychically. The spirit of Amanda Morales appears to be a zombie in this scene. It appears that the young woman who has been possessed will be dommed to death or is dead already and the spirit of Amanda Morales is what is allowing the flesh to movie. At last, a male witch intervenes and Amanda's spirit is put to rest. Or is it?

This movie is a very impressive effort. The acting is very well done. The make-up was good as well, especially for the spirit of Amanda. She looks very creepy and rotted. Indeed, she would make a damn good zombie. Just one problem that I had with the film was that I got an overwhelming sense of "been there, done that" with the plot. I liked the spiritual/supernatural aspects of it, but at the beginning my heart sank a little as I saw what seemed to be a rather standard collection of characters going out to the woods/haunted house certain to meet a dire fate. The early horniness exhibited by the characters certainly added to that perception. However, the story does soon redeem itself, but it certainly did feel like we had seen this many time before. The characters did at least have personality even if they were rather ruthless in their attitude. For example, the main host of the show receives the news that her young woman friends and coworker (who has been possessed), and her reaction is to go on camera and say that her "friend" may not survive the event. With friends like that, who needs enemies? Nice to see something different out of characters in a horror movie, though.
