It is the year 2012 and the USA has fallen apart. Texas is now independant as is New Mexico. California has become a monarchy with tyrannical and clueless leadership. Even worse, there is a massive terrorist attack that causes a huge zombie outbreak. A man, Trent, loses his wife soon after the attack to a zombie bite. He hunkers down to help society fight the living dead and help the monarchy. The zombies aren't the only threat as a female vampire wants to get into the house and put the bite on him. A knight is sent to help, but he's not very helpful nor are the help lines for that matter. Trent may ultimately need the help of the vampire to survive the attacks of the zombies.

This movie actually ends up being a pretty good film. The storyline is very clever and different. There is some clever political commentary in here as well about both the left and the right. The blood and gore are very well done, with an especially blood ending. It was also nice to see the vampires fit in here as well. This production group, Ponderous Productions, is indeed a talented group for such a low budget effort.
